The resolution resolves to set the acquisition prices ofl biodiesel intended for compulsory blending with diesel within the framework of the provisions of Law No. 27,640for the period between the months of July and August 2023inclusive, and until a new price replaces them.


The fixed prices are:
- $331,194 per ton for operations to be carried out between July 1, 2023 and the day prior to the entry into force of this measure.
- $346,098 per ton for the operations to be carried out from the entry into force of this measure and until July 31, 2023.
- $361,672 per ton for operations to be carried out as of August 2023 and until a new price replaces them.
Notably the resolution enters into force from the day of its publication in the Official bulletinthat is, this Thursday, July 20.
Previously, it had been determined a pricing schedule through August, with an increase scheduled for September. However, the new resolution establishes that, for the remainder of July, the price per ton of biodiesel will be $346,098while in August, the value will be $361,672, which represents an increase close to 5 %.
It is important to highlight that biodiesel is used in the mandatory cut with dieselcurrently maintaining a cut percentage of 7.5 points.
The decision of modifying the prices was based on a request from the producing companies due to increased production costs.
