The gas production unconventional reached a new historical record of 82 million m3 per day in June, with 45% of the production corresponding to the Dead cow.
Through your account on the social network Twitter, the owner of the Treasury Palace pointed out that the total national gas production in June was 138 million m3 per day, by advancing the figures published each month by the Secretary of Energy.
“These numbers are the reflection of a State that is committed to achieving energy sovereignty and to becoming a key player in the global and regional market,” affirmed the Economy Minister, Sergio Massa.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of Energy, Flavia Royónaffirmed: “records will be set every month, even more so with the gas pipeline Nestor Kirchner came true. It is the result of an energy policy where resources are put at the service of our country, substituting imports and generating jobs and Argentine industry.”
Last week, the province of Neuquén reported that gas production in its territory during June was close to reaching the historical record of August 2022 (91.5 MMm3/d), reaching 91.03 million cubic meters per day.
The figure meant a growth of 3.33 percent compared to May and 0.93% in the interannual comparison, while the accumulated figure for the first semester had a positive variation of 2.36%.
The increase in June is mainly due to higher production in the unconventional areas of Fortín de Piedra, Aguada Pichana Oeste, Rincón del Mangrullo, El Orejano and Sierra Chata.
