Business portal helps companies with digitization

That is the goal of the business portal Upper Austria (to be found at wirtschaftsportal.ooe.gv.at). It has been in operation for half a year. 1378 applications have been processed so far, 1714 are in progress. In particular, applications and forms for various grants can be processed and submitted directly online. Registration with the company service portal and registration via ID-Austria (electronic identity) is required for use.

“Meanwhile, there are eleven procedures in the business portal of Upper Austria that can be used by local companies,” says VP Governor Thomas Stelzer. According to Markus Achleitner, the state councilor for economic affairs, the degree of digitization in the business and research department is 81 percent of all corporate funding cases.
