This Friday, they entered US$153.31 million, so they have already been reached US$2,127 million, reported the Chamber of the Oil Industry and the Center for Grain Exporters (Ciara-CEC).
The Export Increase Program (PIE IV) was reestablished through Decree 378/2023, with the objective of sustaining the reserves of the Central Bank, and offers a differential exchange rate of $340. The program will be valid until the end of the month.

“After the reestablishment of the Export Increase Program with Decree 378/2023 (rule that raised the exchange rate from $300 to $340), US$153.31 million were contributed today. After 15 business days, US$153.31 million was reached. s2,127 million, surpassing the goal of u$s2,000 million”, Ciara-CEC indicated on her official Twitter account.

Despite this good balance, the BCRA sold foreign currency by fourth day in a row this Friday, August 11, by sacrificing US$97 million, so that during the week it accumulated a negative balance of US$225 million.
The monetary authority thus cut the positive balance accumulated since the beginning of the exporter programat the end of July, about US$1,145 million.
