The Minister of Economy and candidate for President, Sergio Massa, anticipated that The Government prepares various operations in order to contain the parallel exchange rates after the result of the STEP.
It should be noted that from the Treasury they said that during the weekend they were working with the economic team so that markets “do not influence people’s daily life”.

The Minister of Economy and candidate spoke about the investigation carried out by the National Securities Commission (CNV) and announced that there will be more information after the results are known.

On Saturday there were meetings in which they worked on the issue and finished preparing the complaints and the strategy for next week, which will include raids and requests so that those involved cannot leave the country.
The authorities do not doubt that it is speculative maneuvers with the intention of raising the price of the contributions.
Many of those denounced are people who buy millions of dollars through the stock market, but without the financial capability to do it.
Some of the reported cases are even monotributistas of the smallest scale. On Friday some of those involved and companies linked to them already had raids. And on Monday the operations to dismantle these organizations will continue.
Purchases for amounts greater than US$10 million were detected by individuals who practically do not declare income or assets.
