The Government decided to suspend for 15 days the meat exports. The measure was taken pending a price agreement that brings together the main refrigerators in the country.

Both parties are expected meet this Wednesday to establish a new scale of values. This Tuesday, the same day that the inflation index for the month of July will be known, is also the expiration date of the agreement that sets prices without increases for a certain amount of time to combat inflation.

From the main refrigerators they assure that, for the moment, the same prices as last week are maintained since on Friday they had already received new permitted increases. At a minimum, they impose on the Government that the next increase is based on 9% per month.
