But times are changing, and with them the mobility behavior of Austrians: ÖBB is also building on this for its new image campaign, which has been on display since Friday. Because this also includes a song, sung by employees and customers (“We go green”): “The train is now the first choice for many people. That’s a good thing, because the railways are also part of the solution in the fight against the climate crisis”, says CEO Andreas Matthä. The aim is to show a paradigm shift from cars to public transport. Traveling by train is a way of life and that “new normal”.
