On November 16, OÖN and its partners will award the Digitalos digital prize at a big gala in the Linz tobacco factory – it is already the fifth edition. The state’s digital pioneers and entrepreneurs are honored.

Both digital start-ups Young companies are sought that have a unique idea and a rapidly scalable business model. At the digital personality is awarded to a person who reaches many people on the Internet. Here the OÖN readers on nachrichten.at determine the winner. Companies that have converted an analog to a digital business model and thus stand out from others are in the division digital transformation taken in front of the curtain. There are two new categories: At digital project companies, associations, groups or networks that have launched a successful digital project can submit. The woman who stands out with her digital achievements in one or more of the four main categories mentioned, for example by founding a start-up or being responsible for a digital project, will be awarded the special prize digitalia excellent. Who the award Digital pioneer The jury decides: Here a person is selected who has significantly shaped digitization in Upper Austria with extraordinary achievements.
OÖN and its partners Sparkasse, Tabakfabrik, KPMG, the City of Linz, Wiener Städtische and the State of Upper Austria make a preselection from all applications.
They are supported by digital experts from the Johannes Kepler University in Linz. A jury selects the winners.
For the winners of the respective category, the OÖN are offering media services worth 9,000 euros each.
