The economic impact was thus 3.9% higher than in 2022, at constant prices, as reported by the Argentine Confederation of Medium Enterprises (CAME).

Each tourist also had a average stay of 2.3 days, slightly below 2022, basically because families made the trip cheaper by shortening their stay. The average would be even lower if it weren’t for the incidence of international tourists, which tends to have longer stays.

Time and the uncertain economic context did not help. In the previous week, many hotels and lodging places saw reservations fall due to fears generated by the rise in the dollar and prices. But already on Friday, the tourist reappeared showing that the trip occupies an important place in their consumption basket.

In the 7 long weekends of the year, 1 have already traveled1.8 million tourists and left a direct economic impact of $446,478 million.
