It is planned to acquire a majority stake. The four production sites are to operate in a regionally optimized manner.
According to their own statements, the two companies are the two largest manufacturers of prefabricated houses in Europe. The agreement is subject to antitrust approvals.
Elk employs 1,000 people and is targeting sales of 250 million euros by 2023 with sales of 900 houses. Kampa employs 550 people, and annual sales in 2023 with 350 houses are expected to be around 155 million euros.
