Government seeks to moderate increases and establishes the price for flour

The Government validated a 7.9% increase in the reference price of common flour 000 at the mill outlet, within the framework of the wheat trust that aims to limit the rise in prices baked products.

It did so through Resolution 1327/2023 of the Ministry of Commerce published today in the Official Gazette, within the framework of the Fund Argentine Wheat Stabilizer (FETA).

Therefore, the value of 000 flour went to $2,471 for 25-kilogram bags and $96,986.75 in the case of a ton, taking a wheat price of $52,109.91 a ton as a reference. This increase is added to the one that had already been granted in July by 6.91%.

The increases take into account as a reference the variations in the FAS price of wheat by 40%, that of wholesale inflation by 30% and that of wages in the other by 30%.
