The sale of real estate in the City grew almost 7% in July

3,357 records were made, while the total amount of transactions made increased 39.3%, with $78,008 million.

The average amount of the acts was $23,237,639 (83,546 dollars according to the average official exchange rate): it grew 30.17% in one year in pesos, and in US currency it fell 36.8%.

The total number of deeds of sale of real estate registered a rise of 6.9% in July compared to the level of the previous year. It added 3,357 records, while the total amount of transactions made grew by 39.3%, with $78,008 million.

Compared to June 2023, acts increased by 1.1% (3,320 deeds), according to figures from the College of Notaries of the City of Buenos Aires.

The average amount of the acts was $23,237,639 (83,546 dollars according to the average official exchange rate): it grew 30.17% in one year in pesos, and in US currency it fell 36.8%.

In July, there were 159 formalized deeds with a mortgage. Therefore, the increase in this sense is 19.5% compared to the same month last year. In the accumulated of the 7 months, the decrease is 0.5% (783 in total).

The president of the entity, Jorge De Bártolo, affirmed that “the data continues to show a growth of 15% so far this year, although we entered a field of uncertainty in recent weeks with a rise in the price of the dollar”.

“The encouraging photo is that during all the months of this 2023 they were positive compared to the previous one, something that had not happened in 2022. And there have been more than four years where mortgages do not exceed 150 monthly operations and that is a socio- that reflects the country”, he concluded.
