The National Institute of Statistics and Censuses reported data on sales in supermarkets, shopping centers and self-service wholesalers.
The sales in the supermarkets during June fell 0.9% in relation to the same month last year, reported this Thursday, August 24, the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (indec). Meanwhile, in the large shopping centers consumption rose a 11.8% yoy
With these figures, in supermarketshe accumulated January-June of 2023 presents a rise of 1.4% compared to the same period of 2022. In monthly terms, sales had not fallen since December 2022so the June numbers cut a five month streak in positive ground.
On the other hand, in the case of self-service wholesalerssales at constant values marked in June a increase of 2.8% yoy

In the case of shopping centerstotal sales at current prices in June 2023 surveyed reached a total of $144,743.7 millionwhich represents an increase of 149.5% Respect to the same month of previously year.
In the self-service wholesalerstotal sales at current prices, surveyed in the Wholesale self-service survey, totaled $76,823.3 millionwhich represents an increase of 126.0% Respect to the same month of previously year.
