Mr. Johnson, you are one of only three German football players in the NFL – the largest sports league in the world. As a young boy in Stuttgart, how did you come up with the idea of becoming an NFL pro?
Good question. Back in the 2000s, football wasn’t as big as it is in Germany today. But I was always a very active child and tried out almost all kinds of sports. In the end, I enjoyed football the most. The idea of becoming a professional came much later.
