The executive director of Anses, fernanda ravertaconfirmed today that it will quadruple the amount of the 15% return on purchases made with the debit card, which will go from $4,056 to $18,000 per monthas part of the Program to Strengthen the Income of Argentine Families to compensate for the loss of purchasing power of wages.
The refund is intended for retirees and pensioners -due to death or non-contributory pension- who receive up to 3 minimum wages, a change from the previous refund format, which only included those who received the lowest amount, as detailed today by the head of AFIP, Carlos Castagneto.
Also Holders of Universal Child Allowance and Pregnancy Allowance for Social Protection are included in the access to reimbursement.
What does the refund consist of?
The reimbursement consists of the return of 15% of the total purchases in pharmacies, shops and wholesalers, with a maximum monthly amount of up to $18,000.
This means that for purchases of up to $120,000 in any item per month they will receive a 15% discount.
To access it is enough only with pay with the debit card associated with the account in which the holder receives his credit or allowance.
The money will be returned to the account automatically in the same bank account, within 24 to 48 hours of payment.
“Until now there was a VAT refund for consumption with a debit card that was 4,000, and now it will be up to 18,000 pesos. In this way we expand and also protect the pocket of retirees and retirees,” said Raverta this late.
If the purchase is made on Mondays and the business adheres to ANSES Benefits, you will also receive a 10% return provided by this program, which has a return limit of up to $1,000 for each purchase, although without limits on the number of operations.
