Commerce employees will receive the second installment of the 27% salary increase in September.
The Commerce employees will collect in September the second installment of the salary increase of 27%, according to the joint agreements signed at the end of July between union representatives and the business chambers. However, the General Secretary of the union, Armando Cavalieriseeks to reopen the salary discussion in the coming days.
The increase for more than one million Commerce workers is 7.5% monthly between July and September as “non-remunerative sums”.
Although the parity was scheduled to open in September, Cavalieri summoned the business chambers of the sector to “advance the discussion.”
The Argentine Chamber of Commerce (CAC), the Confederation of Medium Enterprises (CAME) and the Union of Commercial Entities (Udeca) are those called for the week “taking into account the recent devaluation and consequent price escalation,” they reported in a statement.
What is the salary increase of the Commerce employee?
The joint agreement signed by the union and the business chambers is 27%, “non-remunerative” in three sections, between July and September:
- 7.5% in July (receivable in August)
- 7.5% in August (receivable in September)
- 7.5% September (receivable in October)
Although, in July an extra 4.5% had to be paid to recover the losses between April and June.
