Above all, the further rise in oil prices, but also the end of the summer holidays, are currently making fuel more expensive again. The ADAC knows when the fuel is still relatively cheap.

The rising oil price worldwide and the increasing demand in some federal states with the end of the summer holidays are making fuel at German filling stations more expensive again. As reported by the ADAC, the price for a liter of Super E10 has risen by 2.4 cents to an average of 1.884 euros since last week. Diesel was 2.8 cents more expensive and cost 1.797 euros. The ADAC had evaluated the prices of over 14,000 gas stations in Germany.

Motorists could save if they refuel between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. or between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. In the morning, fuel is usually several cents more expensive per liter, the club said.
