He Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security reported that employers of domestic workers have the possibility of receiving a refund equivalent to 50% of the bonus of $25,000distributed in two payments of $12,500 each during the months of September and October.
Through Resolution 1136 published this wednesday in Official bulletin, a mechanism was established for employers who pay The assignment non-remunerative to the workers and workers of the Employment Contract Regime for Private House Staff can request a refund of up to 50%.
The official communication maintains that the Government will be responsible for half of the total bonus corresponding to employers that meet the requested requirements, such as:
- That employment relationship has been active in the months of August and September 2023.
- that is found previously registered the payment of the non-remunerative allowance.
- not having been reached for the personal property tax in fiscal year 2022.
- not meet in the Registry of Employers with Labor Sanctions (REPSAL).
- Not have higher income to $1,500,000 net in the month of August 2023by employer or employer.

Likewise, the Government clarified that the payment of 50% of the bonds will be made according to the amount specified in each individual situation. This is because a limit of 25,000 pesos has been established for employees who work 40 hours a week. In this perspective, the amount will be adjusted based on the hours worked.
This means that if a person only completes 20 hours, the amount will be halvedthat is, $12,500, which is equivalent to two payments of $6,250 each.
That being said, if employers meet the necessary requirementsthey must submit the required documentation each month in which they wish to receive the reimbursement corresponding to the stipulated fixed amount.
To request reimbursement, employers must submit the following documentation:
- Sworn statement of the amount paid as a non-remunerative allowance and date of payment thereof.
- Payment receipt of the non-remunerative allowance signed in accordance by the worker or the worker, or in its case the worker’s salary receipt with the inclusion of the amount of the non-remunerative allowance.
- Data of the bank account in the name of the employer or the employer, identifying its corresponding Uniform Bank Code (CBU).
- Affidavit of net income received in the month of August 2023 by the employer and their source.
- Affidavit of the number of hours worked by the worker or worker subject to the “Employment Contract Regime for Personnel of Private Houses” in the month of August 2023.
- Place of residence of the employer or employer.
The request must be made through the web portal of the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP).
The refund will be liquidated and paid by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security through Banco de la Nación Argentina.
