Through a Resolution published this wednesday in Official bulletin, The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries created the National Program “Women Promoting Food ”

In order to plan, design and implement plans and programs that promote the strengthening productive, integral and sustainable of small and medium-sized agri-food producers, the aim is to strengthen the productive units of small and medium-sized agri-food producers, the regulation maintains.


In its article 1, the Program Operating Manual, which establishes the requirements and conditions for the presentation of projects. Article 2 enables the opening of the call for the presentation of projects, which will be valid during 30 calendar days from the publication of the resolution in the Official Gazette.
The specific objectives of the Program are:
- Promote the creation of women’s and diversity enterprises to promote sustainable development.
- Increase the quantity and quality of national agri-food production by women and diversities.
- Promote a higher level of employment for women and diversity that produce sustainable agrifood.
- Increase the participation of women and diversities in the integration of AGROPYMES and in their management positions.
- Strengthen small and medium-sized agri-food producers through coordination with local states.
- Articulate with public bodies and first and second degree organizations the implementation of public policies with a gender and diversity perspective.

Documentation and requirements
- Project submission form (Annex I).
- Due Diligence Form (Annex V).
- Conflict of Interest Form (Annex VI).
- Affidavit Form (Annex VII).
- Certificate of approval of the module “Strengthening the gender perspective in the agri-food field” available on the Program’s micro site.”
- Proof of registration in the FEDERAL ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC INCOME (AFIP), an autonomous entity within the scope of the MINISTRY OF ECONOMY, of the beneficiary.
- CBU certificate.
- Proof of registration in the NATIONAL REGISTRY of AGRO-FOOD MSMEs, created by the aforementioned Resolution No. RESOL-2023-28-APN-SAGYP#MEC dated February 3, 2023 of the SECRETARIAT OF AGRICULTURE, LIVESTOCK AND FISHERIES of the MINISTRY OF ECONOMY.
- Copy of the National Identity Document of the beneficiary.
- Evidence of Gross Income (if applicable).
- Documentation proving the non-existence of insolvency proceedings and/or bankruptcies in
In case of not being able to comply with the presentation of said documentationthe beneficiary may present a Affidavit (DDJJ) where the non-existence of Bankruptcies and/or bankruptcies in execution and/or process is stated, clarify the regulations.
About the selection of projects, the Secretariat clarifies that the coordination of Incubators for Women, Youth and Agrifood Producers will send the electronic file to the AA so that it, based on the evaluation and criteria of opportunity, merit and convenience, issues a GEDO Report (IF) where it will include the “objection or no objection” to project financing. The term will be “30 calendar days” and It will be communicated by the technical area to the email of the requesting person.
