The rise of the blue dollar is reflected in increases of up to 16% in imported products

In October alone, the moneda “blue” registered an increase of $ 11.50 in October and although in the accumulated annual increase is below inflation, the impact of the escalation is already beginning to be felt in various products.

According to the web Price History, the prices of imported cell phones, bicycles, televisions and computers showed an upward rally of more than 15% between mid-October and the current month.

During this period, the informal dollar grew from $ 185.5 to $ 201.5, which represented an increase close to 8.63%, while the registered inflation was of the order of 3%.

One of the groups in which percentages higher than inflation and the blue dollar were observed is that of the imported cell phones, that in recent weeks appeared with increases of over 10%

• Xiaomi Note 10S 6Gb 128Gb Ocean Blue phone: from $ 78,599 to $ 88,099 between October 27 and November 17, with a rise of 12.09%.
• Cellular Huawei P40 Lite 128Gb 6Gb Ram Black: from $ 80,459 to $ 90,497 with a total increase of 12.48%
• Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 128Gb 6Gb Ram Blue phone: from $ 103,213 to $ 116,115, which represents an increase of 12.5%.

Another of the items that also registered rises above inflation and that accompanies the rise in the “blue” was “Televisions”. According to the mentioned tool, the price increases are around 12%. At the same time, high-performance laptops, with a capacity of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of disk, showed increases of around 11%.

On the other hand, there were also price increases with regard to the bikes for adults, where increases close to 9% could be observed, while in regard to those destined for children’s use, increases close to 16% were registered.
