According to the preliminary survey of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Nation, more than 500 thousand tourists accessed Pre-Trip 5which will generate an economic impact greater than the $50 billion. Of that figure, more than 23% of trips correspond to people affiliated with PAMI.

San Carlos de Bariloche, Puerto Iguazú, Salta, City of Buenos Aires, Mar del Plata, Mendoza, Puerto Madryn, Ushuaia, El Calafate, Merlo, Termas de Río Hondo, San Rafael, Villa General Belgrano, Córdoba and Federación were the most chosen destinations in this edition, as reported by the portfolio in charge of Matthias Lammens. 57% of the initial expenses corresponded to travel agency29% to accommodations and the remaining 14% to transport and other tourist services.

“Pre-trip It is a public policy in which the State showed that it can be efficient and innovative. We come from a 2022 without offseason and, with the impetus of the fourth and fifth edition of the program, we are going to repeat that trend this year,” said the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Nation, Matthias Lammens. And he added: “Tourism is the sector with the greatest growth in the generation of formal employment and the most dynamic in terms of economic activity”.

The card of Pre-trip can be used from the start date of the tourist getaway until October 31, 2023both in sector services (travel and excursion agencies, accommodation, car and equipment rental, gastronomy, domestic air transportation, long-distance land transportation and tourism) as in cultural consumption (crafts, cinema, galleries, museums, regional products, recitals and theaters) from all over the country. It is not necessary for the tourist establishment to be registered in PreViaje to receive payments with the card.
