Through a provision published this Monday in the Official Gazette, the National Electoral Directorate (DINE), allocated the contributions for election campaign and for printing electoral ballots for the general elections of the year 2023 for the category President of the Nation and Vice President or Vice President of the Nation.
The provision begins by establishing that the State contributes to the financing of political parties so that they can carry out their activities, including Electoral campaigns. Subsequently, he points out that the general elections will be held October 22and that the political groups that have made official candidatures for the presidency categoryThey will receive contributions from the State for the printing of ballots and for their respective electoral campaign.
Specific, articles 1 and 2° resolution determine the amounts of contributions for printing ballots and electoral campaign, respectively. These amounts are calculated depending on the number of votes obtained for each political group in the primary elections.
