More than 100 SMEs will participate in the Triple Impact Meeting

More than 100 SMEs will participate in the 2023 edition of the Triple Impact Meeting (E3i), a federal event that aims to generate sustainable commercial circuits, promoting integration towards a more inclusive and sustainable economy. The initiative will have two locations: the first day will be held at the Ecoparque, Av. Las Heras and Sarmiento, on September 27 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., while, the next day, the second day will be held at the Council Professional of Economic Sciences of the City, Viamonte 1549, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

E3i is organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Productionthrough the General Directorate of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprisesin collaboration with other government areas of the City and third sector organizations. Its objective is to be a space for different actors to exchange experiences and good practices within the framework of the greening of the economy and the transition towards a sustainable and sustainable marketing system.

“Changing the paradigm of our productive sectors is essential to continue building a City with economic, social and environmental development”stated José Luis Giusti, Minister of Economic Development and Production. “That is why we generate initiatives such as the Triple Impact Meeting, to advance the new opportunities that the transition to the green economy presents us”he added.

On the one hand, in the Ecopark, E3i will have stands so that more than 100 SMEs exhibit their sustainable products and services in healthy eating; manufacturing and design; ecological stationery; compostable packaging, and energy efficiency. They will also be carried out Work tables between purchasing companies and supplier SMEs in order to generate commercial and institutional contacts, contributing to improving aspects of their value chain. Additionally, they will develop workshops and training to raise awareness about the circular economy, responsible habits and triple impact entrepreneurship. On the other hand, in the Council, activities will be carried out around the common good, circular, well-being, regenerative and donut economies, promoting the dissemination of tools and innovations through master classes led by international specialists Ronald Sistek, Flavia Broffoni , Carlota Sanz and Christian Felber, among others.

“Faced with the climate crisis and inequality, many businesspeople have made the decision to make the search for economic benefits compatible with caring for the environment and narrowing the social gap. “We are facing a great opportunity that requires concrete collaboration between public, private and academic spaces,” detailed Hernán Najenson, general director of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, organizing area of ​​the event that will address topics linked to sustainable cities, the circular economy, climate change and environmental rights, among others, which will be addressed by representatives of the public, private and third sectors.

About the Triple Impact Meeting

It is an initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development and Production, which is carried out through the General Directorate of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. The first edition of the event was held in 2022 and had the participation of more than 50 SMEs, large companies and third sector organizations.

This is an activity framed in the Environmental Awareness Day and of International Day of Action for the Sustainable Development Goals. There are 17 objectives and 169 goals that address climate change, economic inequality, sustainable consumption, peace and justice and are part of an initiative promoted by United Nationsto which the member countries signed, among which is Argentina.
