ARBA measures during the pandemic favored the recovery of collection, which grew 70.8% in October

“The Buenos Aires economy is on a recovery path after the delicate context that the pandemic produced. And from ARBA we have been promoting and accompanying this reactivation, through different actions aimed at improving progressivity and benefiting low and middle income taxpayers “Girard noted.

In this sense, he stressed that “we have gradually normalized the situation of taxpayers and improved their level of compliance, both due to the strong progress in tax simplification and the reduction of the tax and financial burden of SMEs, businesses, professionals, self-employed and micro-enterprises ”.

It was also highlighted that “the support and aid initiatives arranged by Governor Axel Kicillof during the pandemic generated benefits and consolidated the reactivation. This improvement in the economy had an impact on taxes such as Gross Income and Stamps, linked to the activity, and was decisive for the Buenos Aires tax collection to grow in real terms by almost 13% in October ”.

During the past month, the Gross Income Tax totaled $ 55,248.7 million and increased 77.4%, supported by a growing level of sales. Measured in real terms, this year-on-year increase was around 17% if the evolution of domestic prices is considered.

The reactivation also impacted on the Stamp Tax, which raised $ 6,229.5 million in October; with an increase of 63.3% year-on-year driven by greater dynamics in consumption.

Regarding the regularization plans, the collection for this concept reached $ 1,967 million, with a year-on-year increase of 143.6%, which shows the favorable response of taxpayers to the new moratoriums and payment plans that ARBA established to address the difficulties generated by the pandemic.

For him Real Estate Tax $ 4,702.1 million were collected in October; that imply a year-on-year increase of 40%. While Automotive and Sports Boats contributed $ 2,060.6 million; with a rise of 3.1%.

Collection accumulates $ 640,647 million between January and October

In the period January-October 2021, the revenues of the province of Buenos Aires totaled $ 640,647 million, which represents a rise of 71.9% compared to the same period last year.

Gross Revenues totaled $ 457,803 million, which means a year-on-year increase of 69.2%; while Sellos contributed $ 53,720 million, with an increase of 89.6%.

For its part, the Real Estate Tax totaled $ 55,894.7 million, with a growth of 55%; for Automotive and Sport Boats, $ 54,867.8 million were collected, with an increase of 82%; regularization plans provided $ 17,065.4 million, with a rise of 132.6%; and other tax revenues added $ 1,296.2 million.
