He National Electricity Regulatory Entity (ENRE) in search of improving communication and the relationship between the delectricity distributors and users, approved a new procedure for the dissemination of scheduled power cuts, trying to improve the efficiency of the electrical service in the concession areas of Edenor and Edesur.

This procedure requires distributors inform users, at least 24 hours in advance, of any scheduled power outages. The information must be complete, including the date, time, duration and area affected by the outage. This measure will allow users to prepare adequately, thus minimizing the inconvenience caused by these cuts.

Furthermore, this resolution revokes the old ENRE Note No. 8763 issued in July 1996, thus establishing a new standard for the dissemination of information on scheduled power outages. The distributors will have a period of 20 administrative business days to implement this instruction and adapt to the new procedure.

Thus, the organization in charge of Walter Domingo Martello, who signed the official communication, has delegated to the head of the Area of Application and Administration of Regulatory Standards (AAyANR) the necessary powers to carry out adjustments and adaptations in accordance with future needs for sending information. Likewise, the Institutional Relations Unit (URI) has been instructed to carry out effective dissemination of this resolution.

It is important to highlight that both the distributors and the ENRE will have the possibility of appealing this resolution within the established deadlines, thus guaranteeing a fair and equitable process. With this change, a significant improvement is sought in communication with users, generating greater transparency and predictability in the electricity supply, reducing inconveniences and contributing to a positive image of the distributors.

This resolution will come into force upon its publication in the Official bulletin.
