The minister of Economy, Sergio Massaannounced last Friday a tax simplification for SMEs who have income of up to 15 monthly minimum, vital and mobile salaries (SMVM)which is the equivalent of $1,770,000.
One of the measures is a payment plan that will allow 397 thousand SMEsnon-profit entities and small taxpayers regularize their tax situation with AFIP. Within this universe, it will benefit 248,813 microbusinesses, 13,675 small businesses, 2,097 medium-sized businesses, 95,581 small taxpayers and 36,594 non-profit entities.

During the announcement in which he communicated the measures, at the Professional Council of Economic Sciences of the City of Buenos Aires (CPCECABA), Massa recognized that “almost 68% of employment in Argentina today is SMEs“which is why the measures taken in recent days are along those lines, to “continue along the path of generating formal and registered work.”
Benefits for SMEs: payment plan to regularize debts with AFIP
This type of payment plan will have the following characteristics:
- 120 monthly installments.
- Interest rate of 4.14% monthly.
- They will include overdue obligations until the 08/31/2023.
- They will allow reformulate expired plans.
