The presence of the main candidates to president –Javier Milei, Sergio Massa and Patricia Bullrich- will be one of the main attractions of the new edition of the IDEA Colloquium that will be held in the city of Mar del Plata starting on Wednesday October 4th.
To which is added the participation of the president Alberto Fernandezwho will close the opening day that Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., based on the meeting program.
The traditional event, which brings together the main businessmen, politicians and trade unionists, on this occasion has as its motto “Argentines: Let’s get excited again. Let’s make it worth it”, inspired by the emotional momentum generated by the triumph of the Argentine National Team of Soccer in the World Cup in Qatar in 2002.
“The agenda of the next Government will have great challenges, from stabilizing the macroeconomy to carrying out the structural reforms necessary to end the stagnation of activity and generate formal private employment again,” Santiago Mignone, president of the 59th Colloquium and head of PwC LAN Theater Senior Partner, told the press.
Mignone considered that these policies “will require a collective effort from the leadership and society that, at the same time, contemplates protection for the most vulnerable sectors”.
To talk about these and other topics, President Alberto Fernández is invited, who will close the opening day on Wednesday at 6:45 p.m.
IDEA colloquium: when will the candidates present
On Thursday, at 11, he is scheduled to present the Economy Minister and candidate for president for Unión por la Patria, Sergio Massa, and at 1 p.m., it will be the turn of the presidential candidate for Together for Change, Patricia Bullrich.
At the opening on Friday, at 9, the organizers announce the presence of the presidential candidate for Freedom Advances, Javier Milei.
He IDEA Colloquium It is usually considered a key meeting point for the main leaders of different sectors and an area for the strategic treatment of major national challenges.
In addition to the presentation of President Fernández and the candidates who aspire to succeed him, in the new edition of the Colloquium, IDEA will present diagnostics and proposals around seven axes among which the “40 years of democracy and pending challenges” stand out; “Generate employment for a sustainable Argentina”, “Sustainability is business”, “The urgency of public spending” and “Taxes for a competitive Argentina”, among others.
In a presentation conference with the press, the president of IDEA and head for Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay from Schneider Electric. Paula Altavilla said that “we are excited that Argentina can take advantage of the opportunities presented to it globally in sectors such as energy, agribusiness, the knowledge economy, mining and tourism.”
