The “winners” are “mainly banks, financial companies and insurance companies” that since this Wednesday “they will be notified by the AFIP for the purposes of making the payment of the advance of profits,” explained the head of the Treasury Palace. “In this way we intend to maintain the balance of public accounts, but reach the most vulnerable sectors of our society”
Unlike the IFE, this economic reinforcement It will not be received by people who have any type of state assistance. That is, the beneficiaries of the Universal Child Allowance (AUH), the Progresar or Potenciar Trabajo scholarships will not have access to this additional money. The universe of people who will benefit from this aid will be around 3 million people between 18 and 64 years old.
It should be remembered that when the IFE reached more than 9 million people and meant a fiscal cost of 0.77%.
The announcement was made by the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa and the head of Anses, Fernanda Raverta. Massa detailed the measures taken by the government to alleviate the negative effect of the “devaluation imposed by the IMF”.

For its part, Fernanda Raverta explained the aid for private household employees and for retirees and pensioners, granting them a boost of 37,000 pesos for three months. Regarding loans for liabilities, Raverta indicated that 1 million retirees have already taken out loans at a subsidized rate of 29%.
Requirements to obtain in “New IFE”
On this occasion, those who have:
- Registered work (dependency relationship, self-employed, monotax, social monotax and private homes).
- Retirement or pension.
- AUH, AUE, Family allowances or Progresar.
- Social plans (for example, Promote Work).
- Unemployment benefit.
To receive this aid, ANSES will carry out a socioeconomic and property evaluation (consumption, assets, health coverage, etc.) of the applicants. The reinforcement may be received by informal workers between 18 and 64 years old, who do not have registered income or receive any type of financial assistance from the State.
Those interested will be able to register starting tomorrow, September 27 at 2 p.m. and it will remain open throughout the month of October. It can also be done exclusively through the organization’s website www.anses.gob.ar or the Mi ANSES application, every day from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
