Frankfurt Stock Exchange: Uncertainty about monetary policy keeps Dax in check

The mood on the German stock market remains weak after the recent price slide. The leading index Dax, which is threatened with its sixth day of losses in a row, appeared little changed on Thursday. Most recently, however, it was slightly up at 15,221.87 points. The stock market barometer is currently at the same level as at the end of March.

Most recently, however, it was slightly up at 15,221.87 points. The stock market barometer is currently at the same level as at the end of March.

The MDax of medium-sized stocks fell by 0.35 percent to 25,539.46 points. The Eurozone leading index EuroStoxx 50 almost stagnated.

The stock markets are currently weighed down by massive uncertainty regarding the US Federal Reserve’s interest rate policy. The yield on 10-year U.S. Treasury bonds reached another peak since 2007.
