The candidate for head of the Buenos Aires Government for the ruling party, Jorge Macripromised that if he becomes the next head of Government he will implement a package of measures to benefit SMEs, merchants and entrepreneurs in the City, in favor of a “productive simplification” of procedures and a series of tax benefits.

“Over the last few years we have managed to take important steps, such as reduction of Gross Income rates to productive sectors or elimination of fees for different procedures. If I am the next head of government, we will establish new processes and tools to reduce the time that businesses waste on inspections and doing many procedureswhich take away their energy and slow down the development of their businesses,” announced the Buenos Aires Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Recoleta neighborhood, where he chatted with merchants from various sectors to listen to their concerns and exchange ideas.

In order to reinforce its commitment to modernization of the City and support for merchants and entrepreneurs, the candidate for head of the Buenos Aires Government of Together for Change detailed a series of proposals to expedite procedures and reduce tax burdens.

“We want to make it easier for businesses to interact with the State through incorporation of technology in inspection processes. This way they will have a preview of when they will receive an inspection, they will have a record of the observations made, electronic media and agile to correct observations without having to waste time going to state offices to present papers.”

He also added: “We are going to implement a progressive reduction of tax pressure on the productive sector. For this we are going to reduce Gross Income (IIBB) on productive activities and stamp tax review on bank loans.
