You don’t do enough research. Before the interview, you have to be clear about which industry and what type of company you are applying for. If I want to start as a trainee at Deutsche Bank, the requirements are completely different than if I wanted to work at a media company. Even in the interview, there are different levels of formality that are expected. Take a close look at the company’s website to better prepare. And very important: think about questions.
