Frankfurt Stock Exchange: DAX slides to seven-month low

The Dax slipped well below the 15,000 point mark on Friday. In the first few minutes of trading, the leading German index lost 1.14 percent to 14,874.42 points, marking its lowest level in almost seven months. He followed the weak guidelines from overseas – a weekly loss of around two percent is apparent. The MDax of medium-sized companies lost 1.19 percent to 24,147.21 points on Friday morning. The Eurozone leading index EuroStoxx 50 fell by 1.2 percent.

The day before, the Dax had slipped below 15,000 points during trading for the first time since the beginning of October, but had recovered somewhat. Stock markets worldwide are suffering from concerns about an escalation of the war between Israel and the Islamist Palestinian organization Hamas.
