The consumer confidence index fell 1.3% in November

In the year-on-year comparison, the Consumer Confidence Index shows a contraction of 2.9%.

In the year, consumer confidence accumulates an increase of 0.9% (variation November 2021 versus December 2020), and is 7.1% below the pre-pandemic levels (February 2020).

With respect to the sub-indices of the ICC, it was observed, compared to last month, a small improvement of 0.5% in the Personal Situation sub-index, a 3.6% rise in Durable Goods and Real Estate and a 6.1% drop in the Macroeconomic Situation sub-index compared to October.

In the year-on-year comparison, analyzing by sub-indices, Macroeconomic Situation fell 11.4%, Personal Situation remained stable (fell 0.1%) and Durable Goods and Real Estate increased 7.6%.

In regional terms, the ICC fell 0.4% in CABA, it fell 2.5% in Greater Buenos Aires and increased 0.5% in the interior of the country, always with respect to last month.

The Confidence fell evenly for high- and low-income consumers (1.2% and 1% respectively).

The last aspect to analyze is a monthly increase in the Present Conditions component (3.2%) while the Future Expectations component fell 4.2%.
