“It is a great opportunity for all the neighbors because we return with more support than ever from the Ministry of Development of the Nation and the Ministry of Labor of the Nation, which allows us to build more trailers through a subsidy and we enter the Mercado Bonaerenses program which gives us the possibility of more equipment and having a DNI Account plus the refund of 21% of VAT,” Maglione highlighted.
In addition, he said that “more than 650 people pass by per day to visit and buy at the fair,” while highlighting that “today the general fair provides direct employment to 57 people and indirect employment to 172.”
The coordinator stated that “this fair is a meeting place for neighbors where it has become a social effect of the social economy, where it is clear that we are not merchants but activists of food solidarity.”
Maglione pointed out “at these fairs residents find food of the highest quality and fair prices with 40% below the shelf plus the current payment methods, so they are very competitive prices.”
