The rents of the apartments in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA) rose 20.7% compared to the previous month, according to the joint report carried out by the University of San Andrés (Udesa) and Free market.

In this way, the apartment rental prices doubled the estimated inflation for October which – according to private consultants – would be 10%.

Rentals in AMBA: which are the most expensive areas?

In the segmentation by neighborhoods, it is observed that one of the neighborhoods of CABA where the apartments suffered greater month-on-month increases in rental prices in current pesos per m2 was Nunez (+26.1%).

For its part, considering the municipalities of AMBA (excluding CABA), the largest inter-monthly variations in house rental prices occurred in San Isidro (+28.5%) while in the case of departments it was Pillar (+32.5%).

Rentals in AMBA: which are the cheapest agglomerations?

The price of the apartments is divided by the number of rooms, the price per m2 in both a single room and two and three rooms is usually cheaper in the West Zone of Greater Buenos Aires, which costs between $2,587 and $3,000.
