The measure was made official today in the Official Gazette and will aim to “promote training and strengthen the formal work system of people who are working in the field of the Popular Economy.”

“Transfer, as of January 1, 2024, all of the holders of the National Socio-Productive Inclusion and Social Development Program – “Potenciar Trabajo”, to the Labor Inclusion Program, created by article 1 of the present, within the scope of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security”, states article 2 of the regulations.

As detailed by the Minister of Economy, from January 1, 2024, social programs will become part of the Labor Inclusion Program, which will imply a “new change in the system of social programs.”

“They are going to have mandatory job training, registration in the employment exchanges of each of the cities and of each of the employment managements, and control of compensation, both in the executing units for the development of productive programs and in the activities that they develop in provinces, municipalities or companies,” Massa pointed out.

He also announced that “the Bridge to Employment program will be launched: anyone who starts working in a company will maintain the benefit for one year, companies will have to supplement income until they reach the minimum wage, and in exchange they will not pay social security contributions for two years.” “.

The social programs will have mandatory job training, registration in the employment exchanges of each of the cities and each of the employment management offices, and they will also have compensation control.

Plan beneficiaries will be registered both in the executing units for the development of productive programs and in the activities they carry out in provinces, municipalities or companies.

Massa said that, “in parallel, we consolidate the Bridge to Employment program. Anyone who today has a social program and goes to work in a company will maintain the benefit for a year, and the employer who takes it must complete the salary.” of agreement. “The objective is to include and expand opportunities for people with disabilities,” Massa highlighted.

“From tomorrow, people with disabilities, beneficiaries of the pension, who enter the labor market will not lose or see their pension suspended. On the contrary, they will be able to integrate the pension into their entry into the labor market “he indicated.

“The objective we pursue is to include, to incorporate, to expand the opportunities of people with disabilities in entering the labor market.
