He Government will advance in construction of a second bridge between the provinces of Chaco and Currents about him Parana Riverfrom approved financing this friday Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)which will benefit 870,000 inhabitants of the area of direct influence.
The line of credit approved for Investment Projects (CCLIP) It is US$700 million and a First Individual Loan of US$345 million for the construction of bridge that will have 772 meters long and its access infrastructure between the provinces of Chaco and Corrientes.
The general objective is strengthen connectivity between the provinces, ensuring criteria of environmental sustainabilitythrough the service level improvement and the infrastructure resilience that connects the National Routes 11 and 12.
The work will benefit almost 870,000 inhabitants in the area of direct influence of the program and, in particular, will benefit 88,000 people per day they will be direct users of the new infrastructure.

To address these challenges, the program will finance the construction of a new interurban road with two traffic lanes by sense as an alternative located 9 kilometers from the General Manuel Belgrano Bridge. It will include a 772 meter cable-stayed bridge in length on the Parana River5.6 kilometers viaducts and 28.2 kilometers of highway on access embankment.
The new road will connect the National Routes 11 and 12offering a solution to connectivity challenges.

The first individual loan will finance the first phase of the construction of the new roadthe work supervision and socio-environmental mitigation actions. It will also support actions of institutional strengtheningsuch as diagnosis, structuring and equipment for the management and maintenance system of large bridges in the National Road Network.
Likewise, it provides for the design of the operation scheme of the bridges and access networks between Resistance and Currentsthe design and implementation of a resilient territorial road planning and the promotion of a sustainable urban mobility.
The first individual loan US$345 million Under this line of credit you have a repayment period of 25 yearsa five and a half year grace perioda interest rate based on SOFR and a local counterpart of US$100 million.
