Pension insurance contributions are waived up to twice the marginal income limit, i.e. 1,050 euros. This initially applies to 2024. Anyone who works beyond retirement age currently receives an annual bonus of 4.2 percent for their future pension. That will be increased to 5.1 percent.
This was presented by VP club chairman August Wöginger and senior citizens’ association chairman Ingrid Korosec on Tuesday in Vienna. Everything was coordinated with the Greens, said Wöginger.
