The incorporation of this new article is an important measure to promote the labor inclusion of people with disabilities in the green sector.

This resolution is an important step to promote the labor inclusion of people with disabilities in the green sector.

Through Resolution 1971/2023 of the Ministry of Labor, published this Friday in the Official bulletinthe Regulations of the Green Employment Program.

Thus, the resolution incorporates a new article, 12 bis, which establishes that the Assistance Program for Workers in Protected Production Workshops and the Program to Promote Equal Employment Opportunities They may be appropriate and adapted to promote green jobs in green and/or transition sectors.

Specifically, the resolution establishes that the mentioned programs may offer differentiated economic incentives for people with disabilities who enter green jobs. These incentives may consist of:

  • Subsidies for the payment of salaries
  • Job training
  • Support in the job search
