The Government established a budget adjustment for personnel expenses, medical care for pensioners and unemployment payments and meat subsidies, among other destinations.
This Friday, the Government ordered a budget adjustment that contemplates, among other issues, the reinforcement of credits of personnel expenses, in order to attend current needs in terms of salary, operating expenses, equipment, as well as credits for payment of subsidies, scholarships, compensations and various transfers.
Thus, through the Administrative Decision 884/2023 published this Friday in the Official Gazette, an increase of up to around $5,000 million was established in the funds from the Chamber of Deputies, the Council of the Judiciary, the National Disability AgencyThe Ombudsman for Children and Adolescents, the Committee for the Prevention of Torture and the Attorney General of the Nation’s Penitentiary.
Likewise, they increased in about $2,000 million in credits allocated to medical care for pensioners non-contributory and capital expenditures of the Ministry of Public Works in order to finance the projects of the “Plan Argentina Hace” regarding infrastructure for transportation, roads and urban mobility.
Education: an increase for the sector
And, on the other hand, a increase in the current budget of the Ministry of Education in order to meet the necessary expenses for the extended working day, connectivity, infrastructure, scholarships, technical education and the National Teacher Incentive Fund and the National Social Security Administration (ANSES) for the payment of the extraordinary subsidy for retirees and pensioners of the Integrated System Argentine Pension Fund (SIPA).
There are also adjustments in the funds for the payment of the unemployment benefit amountssince an extraordinary payment of $20,000 was ordered and, on the other hand, the credit needs of the Specific Affectation Fund for Argentine Recovery, Production and Development (FAE) are contemplated.
They reinforce the budget credits allocated to the Military Manufacturing Company and the refund regime for violated sectors and the refund regime for final consumers of a proportion of the purchases made in businesses registered in the “Registry of Butcher Shops”.
