After the surprising departure of managing director Stefan Schamberger in February (the OÖN reported), Josef Kainrad from Waldneukirchen was brought back from his pension and took over his duties at the Innviertel-Traunviertel-Urfahr warehouse. At the end of the year, Kainrad is retiring and handing over to Helmut Barth, who has been deputy managing director since the summer. This was recently decided at the general meeting and announced today, Tuesday.
“I am convinced that Helmut Barth, with his many years of experience, will successfully further develop the cooperative,” says chairman Ludwig Hubauer. He also presented record sales for the Innviertel-Traun-Urfahr warehouse, which was created from two mergers in 2018 and 2020 and employs around 900 people: Last year, sales rose by 24 percent to 373 million euros. The Innviertel-Traunviertel-Urfahr warehouse has 61 companies, 44 branches and 14 workshops.
