They launch new credit lines for SMEs with subsidized rates of 24%

The meeting was led by the Undersecretary of Financing of the SEPyME, Laura Tuero; and the head of the Argentine Leasing Association (ALA), Nicolás Scioli; and was attended by representatives of the Macro, Galicia, Patagonia, Supervielle, BBVA, Comafi, HSBC SA, BICE, Banco de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Banco Ciudad, Banco de Formosa, Toyota Compañía Financiera SA, Provincia Leasing SA, the Argentine Leasing Association and the National Capital Banks Association (ADEBA).

“The strategy of the Ministry of Productive Development is to take advantage of one of the financial tools par excellence for the development of SMEs in Argentina, as in the rest of the world, since in addition to the operational, financial and tax benefits obtained by the taker companies, provides traceability that allows us to direct financing to capital goods and specific activities where we need to go, thus promoting the national industry, exports and increasing employability in the country “, said the secretary of Small and Medium Enterprises and Entrepreneurs, Guillermo Merediz.

Nicolas Scioli, meanwhile, highlighted that “This funding line that we are launching today is the product of a meticulous joint work that we have been carrying out between ALA and SEPyME and that today allows us to make available a tool to deepen investment through leasing, particularly in everything related to productive assets , which will undoubtedly lead to more production and employment “.

From the beginning of our management at BICE, we understood leasing as a key instrument and this line launched today by the Ministry of Productive Development is another example of how public policy can promote production and generate employment through the financial system ”.

Also the president of Banco Provincia and Grupo Provincia, Juan Cuattromo, stressed the importance of the new instrument and assured that “It allows us to increase the resources that we make available to companies and municipal governments so that they can acquire equipment and capital goods through Provincia Leasing”.

Jorge Brito, meanwhile, celebrated the joint work between SEPyME and ALA “Which allowed now to have a new financing tool with a more than favorable rate and term to support small and medium-sized companies and favor the creation of quality jobs.”
