As of November 21, 2023, all registration procedures carried out in the Sectional Registries of Morón must include the payment of the tax.
Through the Provision 370/2023 of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights and the National Directorate of National Automotive Property Registries and Pledge Credits, a new system of liquidation and collection of the Tax on the Filing of Automobiles and Motorcycle vehicles (Patents) in the Municipality of HummockBuenos Aires province.
The system was implemented through an agreement to complement services signed between the aforementioned portfolio and the Municipality of Morón. The agreement establishes that the Sectional Registries of the Automotive Ownership of the city of Morón will be agents for collecting the tax.
Starting November 21, 2023, all registration procedures that are carried out in the Sectional Registries of Morón must include the payment of the tax. To do this, the Sectional Registry Managers must use the Type “13D” Application, a digital form that allows the tax to be settled and collected.
The system also incorporates the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Morón in the operation of Interjurisdictional Registrations and Cancellations. This means that car owners based in Morón will be able to carry out the registration or deregistration procedures for their vehicle in any Sectional Registry in the country.
In summary, the main new features of the new system are the following:
- The Sectional Registries of Morón will be agents for collecting the tax.
- All registration procedures carried out in the Sectional Registries of Morón must include the payment of the tax.
- To do this, Sectional Registry Managers must use Application Type “13D”.
