As of December 1, 2023, the minimum vital and mobile wage goes to $156,000 for monthly workers and $780 per hour for daily workers.

The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security of the Nation formalized the increase in the vital and mobile minimum wage at $156,000 pesos starting in December through Resolution 15/2023 of the National Council of Employment, Productivity and the Minimum, Vital and Mobile Wage, which was published in September.

This way, The minimum wage increased by 32% in stages. After increases in October and November, finally as of December 1, 2023, it will become $156,000 for monthly workers and $780 per hour for daily workers.

On the other hand, it is worth remembering that in the Salary Council, it had been stated that The unemployment benefit will be equivalent to 75% of the net amount of the best monthly, normal and habitual remuneration of the worker in the six months prior to the termination of the employment contract.. In no case may the monthly benefit be less than 50% of the current Minimum Living and Mobile Wage, nor greater than 100% of that amount.

These measures cover all workers included in the Employment Contract Regime, the Agrarian Labor Regime, the National Public Administration and all entities and agencies of the National State in which it acts as an employer.
