The Resolution published in the Official Gazette establishes these values that will be applied in three sections and will come into force from this Wednesday.
Through the Resolution 494/2023 of the Ministry of Economy and the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheriespublished this Wednesday in the Official bulletinan Inspection and Control Rate was established per kilogram of yerba mate manufactured, packaged nationally or imported, composed or not, destined to be marketed in the national territory.
The value of this fee is set by the aforementioned Secretariat, according to the budget prepared by the National Yerba Mate Institute (INYM).
Previously, it had been set Inspection and Supervision Fee at $7.90 from April 20, 2023 to November 30, 2023. Now, through the official text, it remained at $10.44 from December 1, 2023.

For his part, the National Yerba Mate Institute prepared its annual budget for the year 2024, and requested the aforementioned Secretariat to set the Inspection and Supervision Rate in THREE (3) tranches, the first at $12.80, effective as of February 1, 2024, the second at $18.20, effective as of June 1, 2024, and the third at $25, effective as of November 1, 2024.
This resolution will come into effect upon its publication in the Official Gazette, that is,from this December 6.
