Domestic employees: How to calculate the bonus?
The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) announced that those who are in charge of a private home worker must pay the second installment of the Annual Complementary Salary (SAC) on the last working day prior to Dec. 18.
He SAC is calculated based on 50% of the best salary that the worker has had throughout the last semester.
In the event that the provision of services is lower after six months or the employment relationship has been terminated before the end of the period, it must be settled in proportion to the period worked. The amount will arise from dividing the months worked by 6. For example, in the case where it is 4 months, the figure will be equivalent to 66.67% of the 50% of the best salary for that period.
On the other hand, it is important to know that there is no minimum number of hours from which the bonus is received. Likewise, when the employment contract ends for any reason, the proportional part of the SAC must be paid.
