The SEDI comes to replace the Import System of the Argentine Republic (SIRA), a method that was not easy for small and medium-sized companies. “With its prompt implementation, SMEs could better have access to personnel that until now were involved in a complex approval process, such as SIRA,” González explained.

It is also worth highlighting the special treatment for debts contracted until 12/12/23 for operations with foreign suppliers. “Bopreal bonds for the payment of these obligations are a great step. We will ask the Government that SMEs can use them to pay overdue commitments as soon as possible. The debts of small and medium-sized companies significantly affect the relationship with suppliers”, emphasized the president of CAME.
