By means of a Decree, President Javier Milei instructed the General Sindicature of the Nation (SIGEN) to prepare a Report Delivery and Reception of the National Public Administration. Said document must contain information on the state of the administrative, patrimonial, financial situation and all other activities in progress in each of the bodies that make up the National Public Sector.

According to Decree 126/2023, the document must be prepared within a period of “30 business days from the date of publication of the decree”, that is, this January 2, 2024.
It should also be remembered that SIGEN will determine the contentthe requirements and the modality in which the report will be prepared. The heads of the jurisdictions and entities included in the decree must designate an official responsible for providing the documentation necessary to prepare the report.
Report Objectives
The objective of this report is to allow the new administration to become aware of the state of the State’s situation as of the date of inauguration. This will allow identifying critical areas and issues for the functioning of each organization, which will facilitate the taking of immediate control of them and the continuity of their operation, minimizing the risks that could arise from the transfer of administration; appropriately prioritize the decisions and actions of the new authorities and design, plan and carry out those changes and reforms that are necessary.
The report must be made available to the highest authority of each jurisdiction or entity upon expiration of the indicated period. The Head of the Cabinet of Ministers may extend said period if justified reasons so require.
