The lack of a retirement mobility formula has led the government to provide monthly compensation to retirees to offset the loss against inflation.

On Tuesday, January 2, through Decree 116/2023 published in the Official Gazette, the Government made official the disbursement of the $55,000 bonus intended for retirees and pensioners. Manuel Adorni, spokesperson, confirmed the implementation of another bonus in February, although the amount has not yet been defined.

With this additional $55,000, Retirees will reach a total amount of $160,712.61 for their assets and the bonus corresponding to the month of January. In addition, it was reported that holders of Non-Contributory Pensions (PNC) with DNI ending in 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 will receive the bonus in a complementary payment on January 5 and starting January 8, the usual payment schedule will follow.

The $55,000 bonus is aimed at retirees and pensioners who do not exceed the minimum income ($105,713), as well as holders of the Non-Contributory Pension (PNC) and the Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM).

The collection of the $55,000 bonus for retirees is carried out on the same day they receive their salary, following the ANSES payment schedule. Those who do not exceed the minimum amount will be paid according to the following schedule:

  • DNI ending in 0: Wednesday, January 10.
  • DNI ending in 1: Thursday, January 11.
  • DNI ending in 2: Friday, January 12.
  • DNI ending in 3: Monday, January 15.
  • DNI ending in 4: Tuesday, January 16.
  • DNI ending in 5: Wednesday, January 17.
  • DNI ending in 6: Thursday, January 18.
  • DNI ending in 7: Friday, January 19.
  • DNI ending in 8: Monday, January 22.
  • DNI ending in 9: Tuesday, January 23.

Holders of the Non-Contributory Pension (PNC) will receive in January as follows:

  • DNI ending in 0 and 1: Wednesday, January 3.
  • DNI ending in 2 and 3: Thursday, January 4.
  • DNI ending in 4 and 5: Friday, January 5.
  • DNI ending in 6 and 7: Monday, January 8.
  • DNI ending in 8 and 9: Tuesday, January 9.
