Expectations of rapid key interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank this year have recently fallen somewhat. After its year-end rally, market participants have to come to terms with the fact that the record high of just over 17,000 points is losing sight of it.
The MDax of medium-sized stocks fell by 0.14 percent to 26,020.33 points on Monday. The Eurozone leading index EuroStoxx 50 was barely changed.
